Private Lessons with Max

My 1-on-1 elite instruction will enable you to learn in six months what may otherwise take 5 to 10 years.

I mentor because I love facilitating the enjoyment of music. It's not inherently obvious how to enjoy the learning process of music, so I aim to make the process as smooth and intuitive as possible for my students.

I teach principles of music through a combination of recommended repertoire along with music suggested by the student. I create a custom curriculum for each student.

I am currently studying with Andy Wasserman, a protegé of George Russell: the teacher of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Bill Evans, and Ornette Coleman.

My instruction aims to promote the process of healing, listening and the curiousity of my students, so they can grow into more sensitive and creative individuals.

Max believes all people are in possession of a musical mind, that must be brought out through the art of listening, and exposure to classics.
